What types of custom artwork do you offer?
Our custom products include portraits, simpler solid-line drawings for embroidery, and either of those may be used to decorate other items like matchboxes and cards. We love to explore new art forms, so if you have another suggestion we are happy to create that.
How do I place an order for a custom piece?
If you are looking for a unique piece that is not offered on the website, there is a product option where you may describe what you want and attach images. We will then get back to you via email to collaborate on your piece.
Do you create portraits of other animals besides cats and dogs?
Yes, we love to animate all pets, big or small!
Can I request a specific art style (realistic, minimalist, watercolor-inspired, etc.)?
Absolutely, the styles we specialize in are watercolor, outlining, and cartoon art but we are open to anything you have in mind!
How do I submit a photo of my pet?
When selecting a product, there is a section where you may attach up to three photos of your pet(s). This section is required and the order will not submit without at least one image.
How long does it take to complete and ship an order?
It depends on the product, where more detailed art (portraits and embroidery) requires more time. Simpler art such as outline drawings for matchboxes and cards requires less time. See the product guide for more information.
Can I choose background colors, patterns, or text for my design?
Yes, we love to add additional elements to your pieces whether they are portraits, embroidery, matchboxes, or cards.
Can you include more than one pet in a single piece?
We are happy to include pet siblings and pet friends to your art. Other items like their favorite toy or accessories are encouraged as well!
Can I request changes after seeing a preview of my artwork?
Yes, at Pet & Painter we are dedicated to collaboration, and all pieces will be sent to you via email before they are printed, embroidered, or finalized. If you want us to change anything at any time, email us!
Do you use AI at all?
No AI tools or automated programs are used. Creativity lies at the heart of Pet & Painter, and all of our artwork is hand-designed and made with care.
